Leeward Community College Campus Council

The Campus Council, established in January 1995, serves as the recommending and advisory body in matters relating to the priorities for the direction of the College, especially regarding budget planning and resource allocation. Representing a broad cross-section of College constituencies, the Council recommends priorities to the chancellor.

Campus Council Meeting Dates 2023-2024

Day: Usually the third Friday with some exceptions (see exact dates below)
Time: From 1:00pm and usually lasts for about 1-1/2 hours

Budget and Planning Committee

The committee will support the Council’s annual review of the planning process, make recommendations for improvement, and address other issues relevant to its role as a recommending body to the Chancellor on matters related to planning and budgeting.

The standing committee was established in December 2023 to continue the work initiated by the Ad Hoc Integrated Planning and Budgeting Process Committee, 2022-2023.

Ad Hoc Facilities Use Committee

The committee will identify and document issues and concerns related to facility use policies and procedures, working with the Administration and stakeholders to streamline processes and publish clear and transparent guidelines for the use of facilities.

The committee will undertake the five-year review of the L1.201 Shared Governance Policy.
